John Skews has over 30
years experience in the design and operations of heavy industrial chemical plant. His
career has also included many years as a control and instrumentation engineer. Johns
current focus is the development of technologies for the manufacture of fine and
speciality chemicals.

Dave Hill has
over 24 years experience in process engineering, commissioning, heavy chemical plant
operations, project management and biochemical/fine chemical plant design. Process
engineering experience has spanned plant troubleshooting to design and implementation.
Daves recent experience includes process development from a conceptual stage to a
basic design package. In this process he has acquired knowledge of cGMP as applied in the
pharmaceutical industry.

John Le Patourel is a
chemical engineer with 14 years experience, eight of which was gained in the process
development, project execution and plant optimisation of AECI's Lysine plant. Earlier
experience included the commissioning and optimising of a Formalin and Resins facility. He
is currently involved in the development of fine chemicals technology.

mechanical engineer with 24 years experience gained in maintenance, project and general
management in the heavy chemical industry (mainly coal based technology).

Gerhard Nel
is a mechanical engineer with 26 years total experience in heavy chemical production plant
maintenance and operations. Gerhard has been involved in the management of several
projects in gas separation, fluorocarbons and other fields related to the heavy chemical
industry. He has extensive experience in project development activities and
techno-economic studies in the petro-chemical, fertiliser, fine chemicals and
biotechnology fields.

Peter Veitch is a
mechanical engineer with more than 22 years of experience gained as a design engineer,
maintenance manager and project manager with technology exposure to ammonia and other base
chemicals from coal, cryogenic gas processes, biotechnology and other diverse commodity
chemicals.
